One Weekend to Remember

Watching Naomi and Lydia is always a joy.  We managed to do quite a bit during their stay, including a trip to the playground, arts and crafts, movie night, and an afternoon spent playing games.  Daisy was the highlight of their weekend.  They loved her "tricks," aka sitting, giving paw, and laying down.  They could have kept Daisy busy doing these three things if I had let them!

Who knew a dog crate plus a dog is all you need to keep two kids entertained for hours?
Naomi was a trooper with Daisy, even after falling when she bolted.

This girl cracks me up!

A game of tag that turned into a game of trying to catch Daisy.

Dizzzzzzzzzzzy.

Rainy day fun.

Homemade Movies are Da Bomb!

Ivy and I used to take our grandmother's video camera, which was the size of a small home appliance back in the late 80s/early 90s, and make tons of videos.  Sometimes we wrote a screenplay and actually thought long and hard about our characters and other videos were made completely off-the-cuff.  I thought it would be fun do the same thing with Carter the other weekend.  And here is the product of that fun:
