Jazz

The music was amazing in New Orleans.  It poured out of every open door and window, filled the streets with life, and convinced people to dance in a matter of seconds.  One of the best things we did while in New Orleans was go to a live (and very intimate) jazz show at Preservation Hall.  It was a memorable 45 minutes of pure jazz.  We were up close and personal with the band, listening to and feeling every note they played.

The Best of 26

My 26th year of life was rather stellar.  I really didn't want it to pass, but such is life.  Here are some highlights from my last year, aka The Best of 26... in no particular order:

1. Got a new job that I LOVE.
2. Paid off my car.
3. Flew across the Atlantic Ocean... twice!
4. Spent two fabulous weeks in Africa
5. Got engaged on top of a sand dune in Namibia :)
6. Spent a fantastic year with Daisy
